A Pet Shop owner in South Dakota of USA was arrested and is facing 203 charges for the animal cruelty. 36 animals were found dead in the Pitter Patter pet Store at Rushmore Mall in the state and also 90 other animals in the pet store were seized after they were found without proper maintenance leaving multiple animals in single cages.
Accused Owner Marinda Parks is 38 years old and has reportedly moved the pet shop from one place to other, while the new location has not yet opened. The raid was conducted on her shop with the officers wearing masks at the stinky atmosphere and found the dead animals hidden in the shop, said the Animal Services and Enforcement Officer Kelsey Harty.
She also added that the other living animals were found in the squalid atmosphere, which was left with empty water bowls and the smell was the most bothering. The list of animals found in the shop includes cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters etc. Meanwhile, the shop owner is charged and the shop is closed with a permanent closure report online.ads
